Apartment Review for Avalon Bay At Arlington - Arlington, VA

On the surface, this complex looks like a great place to live. Once you have passed through the smiles and smoozing to get you to live at this place, you will learn the true behavior of the people that work and run the place. Here are some examples:1. Security at the complex is unsatisfactory. The "secure" garage doors are always broken. Numerous break-ins and vehicle damage. Most gates and access doors to the apartments are in disrepair and broken. 2. Package office is ineffective at notifying you that a package has been recieved. No matter how many times I gave them my email address (as requested), I rarely recieved notification. 3. Noise level: If you must live here, live on the top floor and pray that your nieghbors on either side are quiet. The walls are thin, the floors are thinner. I heard every move and romantic moment from the apartment above mine. 4. The staff is unresponsive and don't tell the truth or the whole story. They will blantently lie to your face (we emailed you about your package) just so they do not have to work on the issue that you are raising. They ignore safety issues and have been ineffective at improving security and safety of the building. Bottom Line: If you value your safety and security of your belongings...drive by this place.
