Apartment Review for Ballston Court - Arlington, VA

One of the things I find most frustrating about this apartment is that they FREQUENTLY have exterminations for which they give you a ONE DAY notice to get everything out of the cabinets, off counter tops, out of the bathroom shelves, etc. It has happened three times this year and that is a TON of work to do with one night's notice. The walls are very thin here, so you hear everything outside and from your neighbors. The management is flaky and doesn't even have email. You have to drive a few miles to drop off the rent check even though the management lives in the building. Also, not a very social community. In part because there are no common areas. Even the courtyard doesn't have benches so there is nowhere to sit outside when the weather is nice! The AC and heat generally worked, but they both get turned on a little late so prepare to freeze or broil for a week or two at the beginning of new seasons.
