Apartment Review for Cherry Hill Apartments - Arlington, VA

I enjoyed living at Cherry Hill however my experience with Dittmar Company has not been positive. When we vacated our apartment we spent over two days cleaning the apartment and ensured we followed everything on the “move out” checklist provided by the company. Four weeks later I learned that Dittmar had taken $180 from our $550 security deposit and charged us for recleaning each of the three bathrooms’, the kitchen, and even for cleaning dust off window blinds. Later I found out that our property manager was the one recleaning the apartment and Dittmar did not even hire a professional cleaning company. I would not be surprised if Dittmar’s common practice in regards to security deposits is to enjoy a sizeable chuck of the deposit when the apartment has already been perfectly cleaned. I would NOT rent from Dittmar Company again, they take money unfairly from tenet’s security deposits.
