Apartment Review for Crystal Houses - Arlington, VA

The place was fine when we moved in. It's an old building in need of some remodel, but the lobby was pretty, pets are allowed, and the apartments are big.

In the last year, they received new management. Or, I should say, they got rid of the management and replaced them with useless automatons who only know how to collect rent. The management is the worst.

It is a noisy place, as sound comes through the windows. Not too bad from neighbors; the walls seem pretty thick. Maintenance people are not friendly or competent.

I guess the primary reason to NOT move in here is the the management is HORRIBLE! They would just as soon you not speak with them, don't contact them, don't complain, just drop off your check. And that's another thing- rents are going through the roof even as quality of service goes down.

They say they have an underground garage, but don't plan on getting a space. We've been on the 'waiting list' for years.

There are far better options around here. Don't even consider this one. I can't wait until we move this summer.
