Apartment Review for Dolley Madison Towers - Arlington, VA

DMT is not at all a bad place- nice apartment space, no pests, pretty good location, and 24 hour desk staff. The cleaning crews clean the hallways regularly, and I've never had any problems parking. The "fitness center" is a joke- broken and spartan equipment, and a pain to access, but the building is located close by biking trails and a Gold's Gym, so you don't really need it. Problems: While the staff is nice, they know very little about anything- this goes for the desk staff and the people who answer the phones at the Company. The "no walking pets" policy is especially confusing for them- nobody seems to know what that means. Also, their lease terms requiring you to pay a 2 month penalty when you leave are nasty, not to mention illegal. All in all- they could make some good improvements with relatively little effort, but in the absence of these, the verditc it: not bad.
