Apartment Review for Dolley Madison Towers - Arlington, VA

I lived in this pig-stye for eight months before I finally had enough. This place is a dump... and that's exactly what the halls smelt like. Odor-du-jour, for sure. Actually, that was really the only exciting thing about living there... you never knew what the hall would smell like when you got home, but rest assured it was always different and never pleasant. So, they have ample parking, huh??? Actually this is far from true... I have a parking ticket to prove it from the one night I had to park on the curb because I couldn't find a space... oh, and if you do find a space, you'd be lucky just to get out of your car the spaces are so small. My (old) new car is all dinged up because of their lots. The security gaurd does patrol there... but don't dare come home late and not expect a full harassment from him. Have your ID ready. And don't park near the golf course... no lighting in the back lots make your car an easy target for the theives that inhabit the building. Oh yeah... one more thing... like living near the highway... this dump is on top of it. It's so loud, that even with the windows closed I felt like I had a jackhammer in the bedroom with me. My advice... pay the extra dollars and move to North Arlington. Believe me, in the end, that's just what I did... and I am loving life again.
