Apartment Review for The Amelia - Arlington, VA

Wonderful on the outside but be careful of what you get. We moved in with all of the promises of a world class apartment complex from an overzealous leasing manager more than willing to promise much more than she could deliver. We have been rudely told we will have to live with an 3'x8' now leasing sign that hangs from our balcony and obstructs our view, despite being told the sign would be removed before we moved in. To be honest the apartments are really nice to look at. But for all of that we have been in the unit for less than 90 days and had both the kitchen and bathroom sinks flooded, hot water heater replaced, air conditioner break twice (both on saturdays when no repairs could be done until monday), a sewer smell that develops from the utility area without constant attention and they couldn't even put the water nozzle on in a way that allows both hot and cold water to flow freely on the first try.
