Apartment Review for The Amelia - Arlington, VA

I've had a good experience in this building and would recommend it. The apartments are laid out well, it's very quiet, feels safe, the people are friendly, no maintenance issues yet, the building lets you know when they're coming in to your apartment (e.g., to change filters), nice exercise facility, spacious and well-lit parking garage, dry cleaning pickup, you can let your mail and packages pile up and no one cares, and the general manager is very, very nice and helpful (she goes out of her way to be friendly, genuinely cares about whether people are enjoying their experiences here, and has the front office calls forwarded to her apartment at night and will respond to residents at all hours). And if you get on the side of the building facing downtown, you have a nice view of the Monument and Capitol dome and a nice little park next to the building. One final comment about the person who wrote this review: "I also agree that the young lady at the front is great, she helped me with my lease and everything. She is also nice to look at. As for the 'Older Lady' She is some what the opposite..." While we do not have this nice man's picture and therefore cannot evaluate his appearance in response (maybe luckily for him?), what we do know is that he has poor character.
